About
An engineering practice with local roots.
Memphis Engineering supports infrastructure projects in Guinea and across West Africa. We combine technical rigour with on-the-ground understanding of the regulatory and operational context.
Who we are
West Africa
Memphis Engineering is a Conakry-based advisory practice. We were founded to address a clear need: infrastructure projects in Guinea require both technical rigour and deep local knowledge — and the two are rarely combined.
We work alongside operators, developers and public institutions on infrastructure that supports the country's mining, transport and logistics sectors. Our remit covers feasibility and structuring, engineering management, PMO setup and ongoing project oversight.
We are a young structure. References are available on request, and we will say so candidly when a brief sits outside our experience.

Where we work
Engineering and advisory services anchored in real-world infrastructure delivery.
A measured approach.
We don't promise what we cannot deliver. The strength of Memphis Engineering lies in technical rigour, contextual judgment, and the discipline to engage only on what we can defend.
/ 01
Local rigour
Knowledge of Guinea's contractual, regulatory and operational landscape — not from afar, but from being on the ground.
/ 02
Senior involvement
Each engagement is led by experienced practitioners. Clients deal with decision-makers, not layers of intermediaries.
/ 03
Honest scoping
We work with specialist partners where their expertise is needed — and we say so. No overselling of capability.
/ 04
Operational delivery
Studies that translate into action. Recommendations grounded in what can actually be implemented on site.
Senior practitioners on every engagement.
Profiles of our practitioners are available upon request. Each engagement is led by senior staff with documented experience in the relevant sector.
